downloadxAI is built around a simple principle: a downloader does not need to know who you are. This policy explains what information is processed when you use this site, why, and what choices you have. The current site is a marketing and waitlist page for a tool that is launching soon; the commitments below also describe how the downloader itself will behave at launch.
There is no registration, no account system, and no sign-up of any kind on this site. We therefore do not collect names, email addresses for marketing, passwords, phone numbers, or payment details. Joining the downloader waitlist records only the fact that a link was submitted; it is not tied to a personal profile.
We do not host, store, or distribute any video files. Links you paste into the downloader are processed transiently in memory to fetch the requested content from its original source and are not written to any database.
This site uses your browser localStorage to remember two things, both stored only on your device and never transmitted to us: your age-gate consent, recorded under the key dx_age_ok so the verification dialog does not reappear for thirty days, and your cookie-banner choice, recorded under the key dx_cookie_ok for up to one year.
You can clear both values at any time through your browser settings; doing so simply means you will see the age gate and the cookie banner again on your next visit.
If you email support@videodownloaderai.com, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to answer your enquiry and to handle legal requests such as DMCA notices, and we do not add you to any mailing list or share your address with third parties.
We do not use third-party trackers, advertising pixels, or fingerprinting on this site. This is a deliberate choice, not an oversight. If we introduce privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics in the future, they will be loaded only after you have given consent through the cookie banner, and this policy will be updated before any such change goes live.
Because we hold no personal accounts and no tracking profiles, there is typically nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, GDPR grants you rights of access, rectification, erasure, and objection; if you are a California resident, the CCPA grants you rights to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, or to ask what information — if any — we hold in connection with a support email you sent, contact us and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
We may update this policy as the service develops toward launch. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Last updated date on this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
